Bio

I’m currently a Ph.D. student at Cornell University, majoring in transportation systems engineering, under the advisement of Dr. Oliver Gao.

Prior to Cornell, I obtained my B.S. & M.S in Electrical Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University in Beijing, China, where my research focused on the optimization of electric vehicles and charging station distribution. At the same time, I received another M.S in General Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Lyon, France. There I was trained to deal with practical problems combining knowledge from distinct disciplines. I developed my interest on transportation engineering during my time as visiting student at STAR Lab at the University of Washington. My research aims at developing sustainable and energy efficient transportation systems.

In my spare time, I’m a semi-professional radio/TV host. I also enjoy hiking, swimming, cooking and traveling.

Research Interests

My research interests focus on the areas of electrified transportation systems, electric vehicle systems, energy storage systems and energy efficient optimization.
